From a Laughter Wellness class with kids:
Today we did movements with a guest named Sharon. The activities helped with feelings and waking up. Jacob

When Sharon came and shared her methods of calming down and relaxing it meant a lot to me. I can use them and calm down and relax then I can go about my day calm. I can use the bumble bee breathing when it is too loud.

What we learned today is how to breath when feelings are hurt. Jellow (joyful jello exercise) is my favorite.

Tanner

Today we learned that you can be who you are and you are free to do whatever whenever you want. For example you can do “no word-anger.” Evan

We learned in today’s class how to feel giggle using the Jello jiggle method. We learned how to love ourselves.
Agorra

Today I learned that laughter can change the neural pathways in the brain – including the respiratory and circulatory systems. Laughter brings blood flow through a number of techniques. We learned about tapping, breath, ha ha, joyful jello etc. You can replace negativity with one of these
Kay Minkel

Today we did a laugh for no reason class and the activities we did were bee breath; laugh lotion; no word-anger. Joyful jello – tapping and lion breath.  Anna

Today I learned that it is ok to be silly and be yourself.  Evelyn

From the After School Zone Conference:
From your presentation Laughter Wellness for All Ages, participants commented that they learned
  • “how to validate the feelings that are currently present”,
  • “how to implement laughter as a group”
  • “best session I’ve ever been to!”
